A RETREAT WHERE COFFEE LEADERS LEARN, CONNECT, AND GROW

Join us for an all-inclusive retreat presented by Barista Magazine in the heart of Napa Valley, Calif. for existing and future café owners and professionals from Aug. 10-13, 2026!
WORKSHOP AND SESSION INSTRUCTORS TO BE ANNOUNCED IN THE SPRING OF 2026
Camp Coffee Shop is a community-forward gathering.
It's relaxed, warm, and built around connection. Think shared meals, good conversations, debates about brewing methods, engaging discussions about your coffee businesses, and time in nature with fellow coffee people.
In addition to world-class educational sessions from leading coffee professionals, each day at Camp Coffee Shop will include a mix of community activities, arts and crafts, recreation, and all the other fun times that make summer camp a special experience.
Camp Coffee Shop is an opportunity to make new coffee connections, recharge, and relax in a stunning natural setting, learn new skills and build on existing knowledge, and enjoy some great cups of coffee along the way.

What to Expect
- Casual and unfussy: Come as you are. This is about presence, not perfection.
- Community-centered: The heart of Camp Coffee Shop is bringing people together.
- Shared lodging: Cabins and rooms are meant to be shared. The more efficiently we use space, the more people we can welcome into the experience.
- Varied cabin setups: We offer a mix of cabin configurations, including shared rooms with multiple beds and smaller rooms with fewer occupants.
Lodging
All lodging at Camp Coffee Shop is simple, comfortable, and community-oriented. Most cabins and rooms have shared bathrooms. Only a few cabins have private baths.
Room assignments will be made to maximize participation and create a welcoming, communal environment.
- You may be assigned to a cabin based on group size and availability.
- We’ll do our best to accommodate preferences, but flexibility is appreciated.
- If you’re attending with friends or colleagues, you’ll have the option to note that prior to the event.
A Note on Lodging Assignments
Most accommodations are shared, and roommates are expected.
- The more efficiently we fill rooms, the more people we can include in Camp Coffee Shop.
- You’ll have a chance to note roommate requests or preferences before the event, but flexibility is key.
Why Shared Rooms Matter
Sharing rooms allows us to:
- Keep costs accessible
- Include more participants
- Foster the kind of informal connection that makes camp special
If you’re comfortable sharing space and leaning into the camp spirit, you’re a great fit for Camp Coffee Shop.
